SKF Explorer spherical roller bearings VA405 or VA406 help maximize bearing service life for vibrating screen applications in several ways.

Withstands vibration levels greater than 5g

Standard SKF Explorer spherical roller bearings have proven effective at vibration levels < 5g. VA405 or VA406 SKF Explorer spherical roller bearings can handle vibration levels greater than 5 g. They can withstand considerably higher accelerations than corresponding standard bearings as well.

Like all SKF Explorer bearings, VA405 or VA406 SKF Explorer spherical roller bearings also feature improved internal geometry and manufacturing procedures, which help extend bearing service life considerably.

These bearings have a rugged three-part cage system, larger radial internal clearance, and higher dimensional precision. Additionally, the VA406 has a PTFE coated bore, which virtually eliminates fretting corrosion on the shaft. VA405 and 406 bearings run at lower operating temperatures than conventional bearings, which help improve lubricant service life.
