SKF medium-sized induction heater designed for the safe and efficient hot mounting of bearings weighing up to 120 kg.
The TIH 100M/MV uses low-frequency induction heating to expand bearing inner rings evenly, allowing them to be fitted without excessive mounting force. Automatic temperature control, time-controlled heating and demagnetisation provide a controlled mounting process while helping protect the bearing from overheating and contamination.
Its compact workshop-bench design incorporates folding bearing-support arms, a swivel yoke and integrated storage for the smaller yokes. The heater can also be transported for on-site maintenance using the optional SKF TIH T1 trolley.
