SKF compact induction heater designed for the safe and efficient hot mounting of bearings weighing up to 5 kg.

The TMBH 5/230V uses medium-frequency induction technology to generate heat directly within the bearing or other ring-shaped metallic component. Heating expands the component, allowing it to be mounted onto a shaft without excessive force and reducing the risk of installation damage.

Its lightweight housing, integrated handle and accessory-storage compartments make it suitable for use at a workbench, on the factory floor or during field maintenance. Typical applications include servicing gearboxes, pumps, fans and blowers.

Heating system

Unlike conventional induction heaters, the TMBH 5 uses a flexible induction clamp with thin heating fingers. This eliminates the need to select and change support yokes for different bearing sizes, making the heater suitable for a wide range of small components.

The medium-frequency technology heats quietly and does not magnetise the component. An LED indicator clearly shows when the heating cycle is operating.
